General Terms & Conditions
Last updated · 23 June 2026
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Services (“Terms”) apply to all commissions and services provided by Jasenko Đorđević (“Seller”) to any client (“Buyer”). Placing a commission or entering a service agreement constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
Commissions
The Seller may accept or decline any commission at their discretion. A commission becomes binding only once the Seller confirms it.
Prices & payment
Each commission is quoted privately, in euros, and includes applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping is billed separately. As a rule, a 50% advance is required before carving begins unless agreed otherwise; the balance is due on completion, before shipping. Payment is made by bank transfer against an invoice.
Delivery
Commissions are completed within an estimated two weeks to two months; because the process is delicate and breakages are common, exact timing cannot be guaranteed. An additional 7–10 days is needed to secure export documents. International delivery is handled via DHL (typically 2–7 business days). Shipping is quoted per client, as rates vary by destination and current conditions, and is confirmed against the Buyer’s address before dispatch. Customs duties, taxes and import fees are the Buyer’s responsibility.
Returns
Commissions are custom-made and therefore non-refundable, except where a piece is defective or differs significantly from the agreed specification.
Nature of the sculptures
Works are carved from graphite, which is stable under normal conditions but remains fragile, particularly in its finer details. No time-based warranty is offered, as graphite does not naturally deteriorate; however, impact, pressure or rough handling can cause breakage. Pieces should be displayed and stored in a protective environment, such as a display case.
Intellectual property
The Seller retains all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the works. The Buyer receives a non-exclusive licence to use the work for personal, non-commercial purposes only, and may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without the Seller’s written permission. See the Intellectual Property page.
Publicity
The Seller may use images of commissioned works for promotional, portfolio and exhibition purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Liability
The Seller’s liability for any claim is limited to the purchase price of the work or the service fee. The Seller is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina; disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Municipal Court in Tuzla.
Amendments
The Seller may amend these Terms at any time. Revised Terms apply to subsequent commissions and agreements.
